a cozy 10 years
Been such a cozy weekend with my partner. It's our ten year anniversary tomorrow and while we'll be stuck in with bad weather, it's been a nice weekend regardless.
Yesterday we went out and ate at a restaurant we hadn't eaten at before, a nice kinda boat bar right on the river. I love the vibes of the place, and I even treated myself to an alcoholic drink (a Peach on the Beach) which is extremely rare for me (before yesterday it had probably been years). Then we came home and watched Project Hail Mary cause my partner read the book, and it was wonderful! We even stopped and got snacks on the way home for a perfect movie experience! I played a few more demos, only one of which was any good.
Today we went and played some mini-golf, which was ok, but it was soooo hot. Then we went back to that restaurant and split some loaded fries, and I tried another drink (Palm on the Beach) and it wasn't as good as yesterday's, but the fries were great!
Now we're comfy at home, though there is a tornado watch looming over us which isn't very nice. Hopefully it won't be as bad as the other night.
Tomorrow we both have the day off, and even if we don't do anything of note, this has been a nice weekend to mark our ten years together, I'm so happy <3
