chill dayyy
Today was pretty nice! My partner and I started off in a kinda stinky mood. We didn't really know why, we just knew we felt off. So I threw on some old drive-in movie advertisements and got us ready to watch a movie! Made some hotdogs (cause they mention them so much in the old snack bar ads) and some coffee, settled down on the couch to watch the movie that everyone's been talking about; Sheep Detectives!
It was a very cute movie, a neat murder mystery, and I'd say it was worth the watch! After that I put on the first Naked Gun movie cause I liked Police Squad and I'm happy to say I liked it way more than Airplane. I'll have to watch the sequels so I can watch the newest one!
After that we took my car to the shop so it can be worked on tomorrow, which I hate thinking about it cause it stresses me out so much. I did see a cheap car at the shop though so I might ask them about trade-ins cause I'd like to ditch my car for something with four wheel drive so I'm not so terrified in the winter.

Then we just relaxed and I put on a few episodes of the second season of Tis Time For Torture Princess! The first episode was such a treat, it felt like everyone who worked on it had a fun time with it! It's such a cute show, I really wanna find more anime with similar vibes.
It got me a bit motivated, so I knocked out some dishes, and made some nice rice and mushrooms and a couple eggs, cause turns out being shown wonderfully drawn rice can make you reaaaally want some!
It is funny that the old drive-in ads got us to make hotdogs, and the anime got me to make rice with eggs. It helps that we already had those in the house so I didn't actually buy anything, but I just think it's funny when you allow yourself to be influenced to make nice food.
Anyway, I gotta work tomorrow, which is never very fun, but at least I had a cozy weekend with my wonderful partner <3
