decent commander night
Went to the card shop tonight to play magic with my coworkers, with a mono-black deck I threw together with what I had at home. The games were alright, the company was ok. My coworkers aren't super likeable but they mostly try and get my pronouns right so that's something.
I did end up winning a game with a two card combo, which I've never done (intentionally) before, so that was neat! It wasn't the cleanest win but after baiting an opponent into getting the conquerer back into my graveyard after it had its abilities removed, I was able to bring it back for the win! I might keep going back to play, but I dunno, we'll see.
