emerald x stardew randomizer!

Today was very up and down.

I started off going to my favorite thrift shop and getting three wonderful items of clothing (rolled neck sweater, black and white floral skirt, dark green top) for under $30 which was awesome! Was a teeny bit annoyed the chinese place wasn't open cause I wanted something with lots of veggies to make up for all the junk I've been eating lately, but I tried to make up for it later.

Then I got home, and started cooking some rice with a lot of mushrooms! Then my partner's work phone went off while they were outside cleaning their car, so I tried yelling for them, but they couldn't hear me. So I run to the bedroom to grab something to wear so I can just bring them their work phone, but it turns out the drain hose for our new washer slipped out, and the floor (that had finally dried from the last washer breaking) was flooded again.

So for a while, instead of relaxing and eating my nice food, I was using the carpet shampooer to suck water out of the carpet again. I genuinely screamed at the top of my lungs because I was so frustrated and mad.

Eventually I settled down, cooked up three eggs for my rice, and got my first meal of the day in me. Then my partner settled down, and I pitched the idea of playing an Archipelago multi-world randomizer to them, cause I always feel bad that I don't enjoy playing stardew valley (the daily timer stresses me out, and there's no gender neutral player option, and the game makes your gender choice relevant) so I figured this would be a way to kinda play together! I had already gotten my game of choice, pokemon emerald, set up the night before, and it didn't take too long to get stardew set up (turns out pokemon emerald is much more invloved to get set up)!

We were both nervous at first, cause neither of us has done a randomizer before, or even messed with these kinds of mods, but after a bit it started to seem fine and super fun! I keep sending my partner really good items for stardew (greenhouse, junimo hut, pickaxe upgrades, mine elevator upgrades) and despite mostly getting berries in my pokemon game, I've managed to get 4 badges despite only being two gyms in!

Also very relevant, I randomized my available starter pokemon, and chose a spoink as my starter! I named them Ripple, after my partner's stardew farm!

It's been super fun, and we played for about 3 hours! Excited to play more, so long as we don't break anything!

But alas, I have work tomorrow, and it'll be an interesting week with my hrt appointment, and the potential for a second interview for this new job.

Time to rest and do my best <3
