Funny MTG Dream
Last night I had a dream that I was at some card shop, and there were 7 people there, and we were all going to draft my cube, and I had asked aloud to the other people there, if anyone wanted to join so we could have a full 8 person draft, so no one would have to sit out between rounds. One person answered but they said they would join after they finished a game they hadn't started yet. That's obviously annoying because that's one person holding up seven others.
Someone else sits down to the draft and that's a relief, but they say they don't know how to draft. That's ok, it's easy to teach someone how to draft, but people are talking over eachother so I can't really help them understand it. Then another person, one of the original 7, opened all their packs and is building a deck out of them because, turns out, they also don't know how to draft!
Then another person starts having issues because they have basic lands in their pack and some of their cards are heavily dented, but it turned out those weren't actually their pack and their pack was actually just right next to them!
That's about all I remember, and while I was dreaming it, it was excruciating, but now that I'm awake, it's very funny to me. Just a series of events that was maddening, but even in that dream where everything was going wrong, I was still closer to an 8 person draft than I have been for years!
