I'll give comments a try for a bit and see how people like them. Not gonna lie looking up info on comment systems was just a buncha corporate buzzword overload, and it felt gross. I can't imagine adding something like this cause you think it's gonna raise your bottom line or something??????
I just wanna chat with people and this seems easier than asking them to send me an email. I dunno, I'll give it a try, and at worst, it's just a little failed experimenttttt! If it leads to nice little conversations though I'll be happy, though I'm def the kinda person who'd rather be commenting to someone else to start a conversation, instead of wait for people to chat with me.
Being social in an earnest way online is hard. I don't wanna play a numbers game or be part of some rat race, I just wanna talk to people and vibe and stuff. I dunno, looking at websites that only cared about 'revenue streams' and 'engagement' made this neat little comment box feel kinda gross to me :/
