Secrets of Strixhaven cards for my cube, so far
The new Strixhaven set is coming out and I'm super excited cause original Strixhaven was the set that really got my mind moving when it comes to magic, and the archetypes are super fun! With the new set coming out I'm super excited to add cards to my cube, swapping out older cards, getting new art from the Special Guest sheet and the new Mystical Archive sheet!
The set has only just started being spoiled, so I have high hopes for a lot of cool new cards to add to my cube! The cards I show here aren't guaranteed to get it in, but I'll be scrutinizing them heavily
Looking for good cards that work with +1/+1 Counters, Flashback, and casting instants and sorceries. Flashback cards are what I'm going to be looking for the most, as anything that gets value from the graveyard is valuable in this cube!
New for the Cube
The new Quint is a must, just a way better version of the original Quint, being a planeswalker and costing 1 mana less!
A cool card that can be used to draw a buncha cards or kill an opponent!
A card that gives +1/+1 counters, and lets you cast Channel to cast super large Hydras!
I was already looking at this card after Tarkir: Dragonstorm, but any card that gets a Mystical Archive treatment gets a lot of bonus points, so this will be showing up in my cube!
A creature that gets larger over time, draws cards, and gets even better when you proliferate!
While I'm very sad we wont be getting many Lessons, and zero new Learn cards, I'll be looking at the 5 Lessons we are getting very closely. This red one seems great, and the Paradigm mechanic means you get to cast it every turn for the rest of the game! Hoping the other Capstone cards are just as exciting!
A card that is great for the Discard archetype, and for the Spellslinger archetype. I can see this being fun for the storm decks, even if you also reload your opponents hand.
Honestly forgot this card existed, and it probably should have been in the cube sooner, but it's getting a new artwork so that's good enough reason to add it now!

Mostly just looking at this card because it's good and the new Mystical Archive art is amazing!

These two cards have been in the cube for ages, and getting some beautiful new art for them is very welcome!
