Sad vent warning
I'm relating way to hard to Pookie and it makes me sad. They talk about being unappreciated and wondering when anyone will do something for them and I had to turn off the game so I didn't break and cry.
Just thinking of the friendships I've had where it felt like no one really cared if I was there, even though I gave them so much love and time and tried to make them feel special and cared about. Those kind of relationships where you just decide to stop messaging because you know know they won't ever message first. Or when you are the one to get everyone together for a good time, something they'd never do otherwise cause you're the only one to suggest it. Always making fun plans and celebrating people, and slowly getting sadder cause you know no one will do that for you.
My heart hurts, it hurts to think about and remember. Please don't make your relationships one sided, give the love you take.
