vacation day 2!
I'm writing this a bit late into day three, but day two was so fun and busy!
We started off running to a book store, but couldn't find what we were looking for, so we went to another that turned out to be connected to a huuuge mall! I got a copy of the Strixhaven: Omens of Chaos book, wrapped up so it had the promo card(!), from a seperate location of the card shop I did prerelease at! We ran around different stores, got some japanese chips (I got spicy crayfish chips, and my partner got squid chips!), my partner got a little Ace pride flag, and some one piece Ace merch that serves that cute double purpose! We stopped a few other places, including a little mall, and my partner got a coffee at the food court! I got a super cute sweater for 80% off! Then we took a fun little trip to a local science center and that was super fun!
Then we went to the hotel, which turned out to be super gross and our rooms hadn't been cleaned. There was a hole in the wall stuffed with toilet-paper. So we booked it out of there and went to a other, much more pleasant hotel! It was nice and clean and comfy! I went down to the main lobby to read so my partner could sleep without a light on in the room, so I got about 90 pages into my new book! Then I went up to the room, and my partner was awake, so we ran off to a gas station for late night munchies! I hadn't ever had any of the hot food at a gas station before that, but it was a nice treat!
I finally got to bed after all that, and it was a much nicer sleep <3
